Several Different Symptoms Of Dyshidrotic Eczema
With the onset of dyshidrotic eczema or dyshidrosis also comes a set of certain symptoms. Although numerous symptoms are cemented during their impending arrival upon diagnosis, others however, are susceptible to variables subject to external factors such as environment or history. It must be known to all that even though the symptoms of such a condition or disease may appear unsightly, that eczema is not necessarily contagious to others. Lots of people are unaware of this, which can indeed put a strain on relationships with peers and family members, in addition to strangers out in public. No-one must be controlled by public ostracizing for factors outside of their control.
Now to jump to the top symptoms that you may have a serious condition on your hands (literally and figuratively). Through the beginning stages of dyshidrosis related eczema, the symptoms are harmless and barely noticeable to many people. To start off your skin condition is usually seen as a severe dryness in ones skin. With this dryness comes bouts of cracking, along with furious itching sensations. This dryness is only exacerbated by water and in some cases soap or other irritants. Usage of any moisturizers that irritate ones skin also even cause symptoms to cultivate in severity.
Symptoms of pompholyx can sometimes include small blisters that gather around problem areas including hands and or feet. Mostly found on the soles or palms of these areas, the blisters are likely to be about 3 millimeters (or less) in diameter. These blisters may begin off small yet they eventually group together to create larger regions of blisters. Blisters can manifest themselves in multiple ways. They may appear flat against the skin, or elevated off of the surface of the skin. These blisters however do not pop or break easily and so are usually opaque in features. Fluid fills all these blisters. This fluid found inside each one of the blisters is actually fluid that builds up between each on the irritated skin cells on your body. When this fluid is released as a result of intense scratching, the fluid inside causes sensitive skin to crust over and crack. Such an event takes weeks or even months on end to completely heal and the skin becomes dryer and scaly during that extended time period.
With this increased blistering also comes symptoms such as tingling feelings in ones arms and even bumps in ones arm pit areas. These are generally signs of lymph node swelling that may be caused by an outbreak on ones skin. The person with dyshidrosis might also begin to notice changes in their nails on their fingers and toes. The nails sometimes commence to assume a concave or 'pitted' appearance. You need to always check with their physician before diagnosing themselves. For tips about how to combat these symptoms look at dyshidrotic eczema treatment eBooks
